Magnolia Joli Pompom

  • Best seller
  • Flowering month: April
  • Flower colour: White

Joli Pompom is a white-flowered Magnolia, indeed perhaps the purest white of any Magnolia. The petals have a soft-white sheen, reminscent of a silk wedding dress or icing on a cake.

The effect is heightened by the pale rhubarb-coloured stamens.

Joli Pompom is a cross between Magnolia 'David Clulow' and Magnolia sprengeri elongata. It was raised at the Westpelaar Arboretum in Belgium, where it is known as 'Joli Pompon'.
