Trompenburg is a fairly vigorous upright Acer, characterised by bronze leaves which turn fiery red in the autumn.
Order now for delivery from 17th September for pot grown trees or December for bare-root or mixed tree orders.
Trompenburg is named after the place where it was raised - the Trompenburg Arboretum, in Rotterdam.
Trompenburg is sometimes categorised in the 'Elegans' sub-group of Acer palmatum. These varieties usually have deeply cut 7-lobed leaves and an upright growth habit.
