The flowers of Woodsman are quite unusual amongst Magnolias.  They are basically a dusky pink, but usually with a cream interior and often shades of yellow and green on the outside.

Woodsman is vigorous and fast-growing, and should reach over 5m after 10 years.

This hybrid Magnolia is a cross between the species Magnolia accuminata and Magnolia lilliflora, and was raised at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
