Palibin

Syringa meyeri
Palibin has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit

Palibin is a form of the Korean lilac, very similar to the more widely-grown common lilac, but slower-growing and less vigorous.  This variety forms into a shrub rather than a tree so much more suited to smaller spaces.

It has scented lilac-mauve flowers that bloom in May and June.
