Malus NUVAR® Marble is a modern crab-apple developed in the UK. The white blossom and upright tree are attractive, but the main appeal is the large fruitlets, which ripen early in the season, and are ideal for making crab-apple jelly.

History

NUVAR® Marble was developed by John Breach, a grower in Kent in the 1970s. It is related to the popular Discovery apple, and inherits that variety's good horticultural characteristics and disease resistance.

What will it look like?

Illustrative example of a pot-grown tree of this variety as supplied. Approximate girth: 6/8cm. We try to keep all pot-grown trees down to about 1.5m as supplied, but some may be larger. Trees should reach their mature height after about 10 or more years.
